Hi all. I am looking for info regarding the family of David DUNCAN and his
wife Sarah. David and Sarah both would have been born about 1784. They
were found in the 1850 census in either Wayne or Clinton Co., KY (not sure
which; probably Clinton). This census has my ancestor James S. PARMLEY who
was born abt 1836 and his sister Sarah PARMLEY living with them. I beleive
stongly that David and his wife may have been grandparents or step -
grandparents. I say this because I also found another James PARMLEY born in
1810 who has both of these children as well as several others. He was
married first to Charlotte BAKER and then a second marriage to Harriett E.
DUNCAN.

I'm trying to find out why my James S. Parmley born about 1836 and his
sister Sarah were living with the DUNCAN's. Were they grandparents or step
- grandparents?
